December 5th

Principal’s Weekly Update,

As we turn the calendar to December, it’s hard to believe how quickly the year is moving. Winter weather has certainly made its presence known, and with it comes the start of our winter sports season. Practices are already underway, and we are excited to see our student-athletes back in action. Best of luck to all of our teams as they prepare for competition!

As we look ahead to the new year, I want to take a moment to reinforce the importance of timeliness and attendance. Being on time to school each day truly matters—even being five minutes late will impact a student’s attendance record. Consistent attendance is essential not just for academic success but also for helping students feel connected and engaged within our community.

We will also be rolling out updated attendance guidance this month. This information will be shared directly with students and families, and we ask that you please review it carefully once it becomes available. Our goal is to support every student in building strong habits and ensuring they are fully part of the Pentucket experience.

Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support. Stay warm, and enjoy the start of this winter season!

CONGRATULATIONS!

Please help in congratulating Amelia Crowe - Amelia has been nominated by the New England Patriots for the Maxwell football club Player of the Year award. She is 1 of only 32 girls in the entire country to be nominated for this award. One of the 32 girls nominated will be announced as the winner on March 13th in Atlanta, Georgia during the Maxwell Football Club award ceremony. Awards

In addition to this, Amelia has been nominated to be in the NFL Flag National College Showcase which is held during the Pro-Bowl in California. Each NFL team selects 1 athlete to represent their organization in this game, and the Patriots have chosen Amelia. Of the 32 nominations, about 10 are chosen to play in the game (voted on by the NFL office).

We are so proud of Amelia and Pentucket Girl's Flag Football!
