Principals Message
OAE is a 'Good Provider' as graded by Ofsted
It means that here at OAE we consistently deliver high-quality education, care, and leadership for your child.
This is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment shown by our staff, pupils, and wider school community. The inspectors recognised our strong leadership, the quality of teaching and learning, and the positive attitudes and behaviour of our students. They also highlighted our inclusive and supportive ethos, which ensures every child is given the opportunity to thrive.
While we are proud of this recognition, we remain ambitious and focused on our continued journey of improvement. Our goal is always to provide the very best for our pupils — academically, socially, and emotionally — and we are committed to building on this success together.
Once again, thank you for your continued support and partnership. It is your trust and involvement that help make our academy such a special place.
Warm regards
Mrs Robinson

Year 7 Visit to the Natural History Museum
As part of our KS3 Journey, all of our Year 7 students visited the Natural History Museum on Friday 25th of April for an engaging and educational day exploring the wonders of science and nature. The trip began with a tour through key exhibits, including the popular dinosaur gallery, the human evolution section, and the earthquake simulator. Students had the opportunity to see real fossils, life-sized models, and interactive displays that brought the curriculum to life. The visit helped reinforce topics from their science lessons and encouraged curiosity about the natural world. Overall, the trip was informative, enjoyable, and sparked great enthusiasm among the students.
Local Priest Visits OAE
We had the awesome privilege of having a local church leader visit our academy, to support our KS4 with exam prep and content revision. The Right Reverend Martin Legg, a minister within the United Reformed Church, came in to do a session on the nature of God in Christianity, as this is one of the religions studied on our RS GCSE specification.
He brought his vestments (robe worn by the clergy) and students were enthused to learn from a real practitioner and church leader within our community. Based on the feedback from our students in year 10 and year 11, they were very thankful for this experience and as a department we know this will make a substantial impact in their approach to GCSE exam revision.

OAE LEARN DAY
"For our OAE LEARN DAY, we had the privilege of welcoming speakers from the Oxford Centre for Religious Apologetics (OCCA) to run sessions with Y9 and Y10.
The session explored topics such as;
- Philosophy and Film: are you thinking or relaxing? Students were able to look at ways in which films and cinematography communicate worldview themes.
- Justice and Morality: Looking at moral arguments in our world and the ideas of social justice.
Students felt that the sessions were very engaging and relevant for their current contexts. The idea is that students are able to develop their character and prepare for the wider world."
Earth Day
On Wednesday, 23rd, we celebrated Earth Day with a house competition. Students were engaged in completing a quiz and writing a commitment to our Earth. The quiz was won by 10N, who will receive 1,000 house points. All other house participants will be awarded 500 house points each.
Nut Free Academy
Please be reminded that under no circumstances should nuts or any food containing nuts be bought into the academy.
The academy is a nut free school, and we have students with severe life-threatening nut allergies.
Attendance
The Academy attendance target is 96%. We are currently at 92.3%. Your support in ensuring that you child attends school everyday is essential in securing success for them. Every day missed, means that opportunities to learn are missed and the chance of success is reduced.

School Policies - Our Expectations and Standards
Uniform
Students are expected to attend the Academy in full school uniform each day.
Students are expected to wear blazers every day, even in the summer term. We assess the temperature on a daily basis and will inform parents by text if blazers are not to be worn that day.
Students will be rewarded with L points for consistently meeting our high standards and C points if they are choosing to persistently fail to meet our high standards. If your child has a uniform issue, please contact the Academy via info@oasisenfield.org and we will support them to be dressed correctly each day. Students get the opportunity to borrow items from our uniform shop, each day, to ensure that they start the day well. This is located in the Oasis Community Space on the A floor and is open from 8am - 8.20am each day.
Full uniform details are found on our website:
Community Expectations
At OAE we embody our expectations in everything we do. We do this through our behaviours and attitudes, modelling to the young people at OAE and expecting to see the same high standards from them.

Our Ethos at Oasis Academy Enfield
Our ethos is rooted in what we believe and who we are. Grounded in our story, it is an expression of our character; a set of values that inform and provide the lens on everything we do.
- A passion to include
- A desire to treat people equally respecting differences
- A commitment to healthy, open relationships
- A deep sense of hope that things can change and be transformed
- A sense of perseverance to keep going for the long haul
It is these ethos values that we want to be known for and to live by. We are committed to a model of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope, and perseverance throughout all the aspects of the life and culture of every Oasis Hub and academy community.
We encourage every member of our family, be that staff or student, to align themselves to these ethos values. The values themselves are inspired by the life, message and example of Jesus but we make it clear that we will not impose on anyone, the beliefs that underpin our ethos values. We recognise and celebrate the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to our community, respecting the beliefs and practices of other faiths in the hope that we will provide a welcoming environment for all.
