**Jr. High Sibling Expectaions**
- Junior high students who have siblings in second grade or younger are welcome to wait in the designated area, as long as they are not causing any disturbances.
- If their sibling is in third grade or older, we ask that they wait on the sidewalk in front of the Creekside sign (not on or at Creekside sign).
- Junior high students without siblings attending Creekside should not loiter on or near the property.
The purpose of these guidelines is to reduce the ongoing rowdiness that has been reported, including skateboarding in front of the building and on steps, as well as loud and disruptive behavior around our building.
We want to recognize that there are several Fairfield students who are being respectful and responsible while waiting for their siblings, and we do not want to impose unnecessarily on them. Our goal is simply to reduce the unnecessary presence and disruptive behavior of those without a reason to be on campus.
Phone/Watch Policy
What to expect with phones and smart watches
Creekside does not allow students to use personal phones during the school day. If a parent must be contacted, the student needs to receive teacher permission, after which they will use the school phone. Smart watches may be worn and used as a watch only. Phones must be kept in backpacks.
When students use a personal phone during the school day, they will receive 1 warning. If they choose to use their phone a second time, the phone or watch will be sent to the office. A parent will then need to pick the phone or watch up. It will not be released to the student.
Parents, please help us by enforcing this at home. Do not allow your child to contact you on their personal device during school hours. Make plans before school starts or contact them on their device AFTER the dismissal bell.
Pet Policy
No Animals allowed on School property
We love your dogs! However, we ask that you please do not bring dogs, or any other animal on school property.
"Privately owned animals are only permitted on school premises with explicit consent from the Executive Director or direct supervisor. Otherwise, it is unlawful to bring domestic animals onto the grounds of any public school, regardless of whether the animal is restrained by a leash, chain, rope, cord, or similar device." -ut.gov
Walk Your Wheels!!
At Creekside we always Walk our Wheels on school property. This protects our walkers from accidentally getting hit by someone on wheels. This applies to EVERYONE!
