Every other year in November is school board election time. We encourage everyone to attend the upcoming school board candidate forum on Wednesday, October 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium to learn about the candidates running for our three open school board seats!

Thank you, Rotary Club of West Liberty, for putting this forum together!

Also, get out and vote! Tuesday, November 7th is election day, with local locations open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

GO COMETS!!

Join us in celebrating the new ELC and Kindergarten remodel on October 23rd, at 6:00 pm. We will meet at the front of the new ELC building for a brief presentation, followed by a ribbon cutting and open house of the classrooms.

Hopefully you have enjoyed the Friday Flyovers with our new drone, compliments of Brian Rance, our Technology Director. It has been great watching the fields develop and take shape over the past few months.

As you can see from the flyovers, the baseball field turf and track surface have been installed, and the exterior fencing is near completion. We will move over the existing scoreboard from the football/soccer field, and new scoreboards will be installed for the baseball and softball fields. We are also planning on moving the visitor bleachers over to the new complex, and dugouts and press boxes will be built prior to spring games.

Thank you for your patience as the project work is completed. We want this project finished in a timely manner, and we also want to ensure that our students and community have an outstanding, high quality facility for many years to come.

Mark your calendars for these upcoming events:
