Livermore High School | Bi-Weekly Newsletter
Dear Livermore High School Families,
I am excited to share some important updates and upcoming events happening at Livermore High School this October. Our students, staff, and community continue to demonstrate incredible school spirit, achievement, and dedication.
Erika’s Lighthouse Model School Recognition
Livermore High School has been recognized as an Erika’s Lighthouse Model School! Erika’s Lighthouse is a national organization focused on raising awareness about teen depression, reducing stigma, and encouraging students to seek help when needed. Being named a Model School means that we are being recognized for creating a culture that prioritizes student mental health and well-being, something we are very proud of.
This month’s PBIS theme is anti-bullying, and students will participate in lessons during Wednesday Access that reinforce kindness, respect, and the importance of looking out for one another.
Athletics
- Volleyball: The annual Pink Out Game will take place on October 10, and teams will also wear pink each Wednesday in October to support breast cancer awareness. We encourage our community to join in by wearing pink on those days. Mark your calendars for Volleyball Senior Night on October 16, when we will celebrate our senior athletes.
- Football: Varsity Football is off to a strong 5–0 start! They will travel to California High School this week to face the undefeated Cal Grizzlies, then return home on October 10 for their Senior Night vs. Dublin High School, which will also be a Pink Out game.
- Girls Golf: The team has had an impressive season, with standouts like Quinn Johnson and Ella Carroll leading the way. They recently won the Tracy Bulldog Invitational and are preparing for the final weeks before the league championship.

Show your support and school spirit by purchasing a Pink Out Shirt!

Core SEL Survey
On Wednesday, October 22, all LHS students will participate in the Fall Core SEL Survey during CAP (11:56–12:26). This survey provides valuable insights into students’ social-emotional skills and helps guide our efforts to better support their needs.
