2024 Annual Appeal
Dear EVCS Community,
As we look back on the 2023-2024 academic year thus far, we are filled with so many wonderful memories of our students connecting with our community. From Family Heritage Night to guest speakers ranging from musical performances to reptile handlers, nearly 100 field trips, Literacy Night, and so much more, we are grateful to provide these meaningful memories and opportunities.
These connections to our broader community and how important they are to student enrichment is the theme of this year’s annual appeal. As we look to the 2024-2025 academic year and beyond, our goal is to not just maintain, but grow and build on how our students engage with the resources, organizations, businesses, programs, and institutions that contribute to the foundation of our region.
We are expanding the horizons for our students by putting them out into the community through a variety of field trips including museums, historical sites, parks, music halls and more. We also bring the community into school, through guest speakers and performers, enriching students with nuanced and varied cultural experiences. And, of course, there are our exclusive evening programs, such as Family Heritage Night and Literacy Night, which foster unique connections within EVCS across students, staff, and guardians.
Through all of these efforts, we can ensure students grow to become well-rounded individuals with a variety of interests, experiences, and connections, ready to tackle the challenge and opportunity of high school and beyond.
