The OMS Community Newsletter
Week of March 24- 28, 2025
There is a display in the main lobby where students shared what they would spend on a pot of gold. This was a quick activity that students participated in during Knight Time Advisory on St. Patrick's Day.
Principal's Message
Dear OMS Community,
Trimester 3 began this week! Students started new classes for the last trimester as part of their exploratory and enrichment class rotations.
We have a few events throughout Trimester 3 so please check our calendar on the OMS website to keep up to date.
- On Thursday, April 10th, there is the Knight of Excellence from 6:30-8:00pm. This is a school-wide open house where student work is displayed throughout the school. Parents are invited to come and view their student's work. Students are invited to come to the Knight of Excellence, but they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- Spring MCAS will be throughout the month of April and May. The dates were emailed home and can be viewed below.
- The Grade 8 Class Day and Promotion Ceremony occurs the day before the last day of school. As of now, the last day of school is June 17th which means Class Day and the Promotion Ceremony will occur on June 16th. More information will be shared this Spring with 8th grade families regarding Class Day and the Promotion Ceremony.
Due to technical difficulties, Trimester 2 Report Cards will be issued on Monday, March 31st. You can already view Trimester 2 grades on the PowerSchool Portal.
Best,
Katrina Crowley
