CRPS Chronicles
June 6, 2026
Dear Conover Road Families,
What an amazing year it has been at Conover Road Primary School! As we wrap up this incredible journey together, we want to take a moment to celebrate all of YOU—our wonderful families and partners in education. This year would not have been possible without your incredible support. From volunteering in classrooms to cheering at our events, from helping with homework to encouraging your children to be their best selves—you are the heart of our school community. Thank you for believing in our teachers, our programs, and most importantly, in our students. Your partnership means everything to us!
As we look toward some summer fun, we also want to take this time to honor four exceptional educators who have dedicated their talents and hearts to Conover Road Primary School:
Linda Weigel, Art Teacher — Thank you for filling our hallways (and lives) with color, creativity, and joy!
Maureen Caffyn-Price, Second Grade Teacher — Your warmth and dedication have touched so many young hearts. You leave a lasting legacy on our school.
Debra Steele, Innovation Lab Teacher — Your passion for helping students explore and discover has been truly inspiring.
Veronica Zaino, Preschool Instructional Assistant — Your gentle care and support have made such a difference in our youngest learners' lives.
We wish you all of these outstanding educators a wonderful and well-deserved retirement!
The month of June is always hopping with activity at CRPS. Read the newsletter for more information about the following events:
Field Day — June 9th
Kindergarten Graduation — June 18th
Short Session Days on June 22-24 (June 24 is the LAST DAY of school)
Jersey Freeze Nights on June 15, 16, 17 to support our PTO
As your children head into summer, we encourage you to keep their learning progression going! Visit the library, explore nature, read together, try new activities, and most importantly—have FUN! Summer is a perfect time to let curiosity lead the way. These summer adventures will make for great stories in writing class next year.
Wishing you and your families a happy, wonderful, and restful summer filled with laughter, adventure, and precious memories.
Sincerely,
Tricia Barr and Merri Milano, CRPS Administrators

The Pout-Pout Fish Live on the CRPS Stage!

After the performance, the students used Venn Diagrams to draw comparisons between the book and the stage production.

Missing: VISITOR Lanyards
We are always so grateful to our many parent volunteers that visit us for classroom lessons and celebrations. We have noticed that many of our visitor lanyards are missing. Would you kindly look to see if you accidentally wore this accessory as you left the building and return to Mr. Felle at your earliest convenience?
