WHS eNotes
September 29, 2023
Message from Mr. Imbusch
Dear students and parents/guardians:
This coming Wednesday, October 4th, all 9 -12 grade students will be completing a very brief and confidential survey from Massachusetts General Hospital about substance use and mental health. This will take place in class at the end of the last block at 1:03pm. The survey will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. Please see previous eNotes for more information.
Friday, October 6th is an Early Release Day.
As many of our seniors are now making decisions about what to do after high school, a recent article in The New York Times Magazine, September 10, 2023 “Saying No to College” by Paul Tough, caught my attention. Kim Marshall wrote a synopsis of it here, which also links to the original article. It’s an interesting read!
Have a wonderful weekend!

If you pay by Venmo (@Whs-Donations), please put speech and debate in your Venmo note and email emurray@walpole.k12.ma.us for a picture of your raffle tickets. Speech and debate students have to fundraise all year long, so a $7 donation can help send one student to one tournament! Thanks for the support,
