Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration πͺ
DLI Celebration ππππ
Our DLI students had a wonderful time celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month which began September 15th. Throughout the month, they enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging activities that helped them learn about and appreciate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic communities.
Students explored Hispanic countries, learned about famous Hispanic leaders and artists, enjoyed music and dances, read multicultural stories, created themed projects, and shared in meaningful classroom discussions. We are proud of their curiosity, participation, and excitement as they celebrated the diversity that makes our community so special!

A Word from Our Instructional Coach
Hello, CFIE families!
This is the final week that we are spotlighting each specific section of responsibilities in our Title I compact which outlines the conditions for success for every student. This week we will be highlighting the students' role in producing both personal and academic success.
Students, you have a BIG role in your success! Every day, the choices students make can help them learn, grow, and reach their goals.
What Does a Successful Student Do?
I COME READY TO LEARN
I come to school regularly, bring what I need, and make sure my school device is charged and ready to use.
I SHOW RESPECT
I respect myself, my teachers, school staff, classmates, and the rights of others.
I ASK FOR HELP
If I don't understand something, I don't give up. I ask my teacher for help!
I DO MY BEST WORK
I complete my assignments and turn them in on time. I take pride in my work.
I TAKE CARE OF MY TOOLS
I use my school-issued device appropriately and take care of the materials that help me learn.
I READ EVERY DAY
I readβor have someone read to meβfor at least 15 minutes each day.
I FOLLOW SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS
I follow the rules in the student handbook and our SOAR expectations so everyone can learn in a safe and respectful environment.
I USE MY RESOURCES
I ask for and use the school and community resources available to help me learn.
I MAKE GOOD CHOICES WITH SCREEN TIME
I balance technology with reading, learning, playing, creating, and spending time with others as well as use it appropriately to learn.
Remember, we are a team and we are here to work together! Students + Families + School= Success!
Warmly,
Rachael Davis
Instructional Coach

Mrs. Ketchum's Kindergarten Class Gives Back
Mrs. Ketchum's kindergarten class is excited to support the Ronald McDonald House by collecting aluminum drink tabs! This simple recycling project helps raise funds that provide comfort and support to families with children receiving medical care.
We invite all families to join us by saving and sending in drink tabs with your child. Every tab collected makes a difference and helps our class contribute to this meaningful cause.
Please send your drink tabs to school with your child. Thank you for your support! π
