Wizards Newsletter
February 27th, 2026
Hello Wizard Families-
Thank you to all the families who joined us for conferences this past Wednesday! We truly value the partnership between home and school and appreciate the time you take to connect with teachers about your child’s growth. We look forward to seeing more families at conferences this coming Wednesday, 3/4/26. Please remember that there is no school for students on Wednesday due to conferences.
A big thank you to our PTO for supporting conferences this past Wednesday by providing subs, sandwiches, drinks, and desserts for staff. We are also grateful to the parents whose donations made this possible; your generosity and support mean so much to our team.
Kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year is also happening this Wednesday, 3/4/26. Families may complete registration online, or they are welcome to visit the office if they have questions about the process; we’re happy to help.
Finally, a reminder that Emily’s last day as our secretary will be March 3rd. Until then, and as we transition to her replacement, please direct office emails to Susan Schepanski. Her email address is schepanski.susan@iowacityschools.org.
Wishing everyone a wonderful and restful weekend!
