Books for 26-27

The LMMS Library team is gathering a list of brand new books to add to our collection next school year. These books will be new releases, books that complete existing series, and more copies of our most popular books. We have not put in our order yet so we are very open to any suggestions you may have. Knowing what students and teachers are interested in reading is a big help!

Collaborations

The library partners with our teachers to create activities built for their classes and students. Mrs. Matecki used the library this year for a student research project that utilized resources from the non-fiction section and materials from the MakerLab to bring their topics to life. If you want to collab with the library for end of the year projects or get a head start for next year, please reach out!

Pride Month

June is Pride month! Officially acknowledged by the United States government in 1999, Pride month celebrates the identity, history, and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community. It encourages all people whether a part of the community or not to be themselves and join in the celebration.

The LMMS Library team has made a list of hand-picked books written by or about members of the LGBTQIA+ community. If you would like to check out any of these books please come down to the library and check out our display!

We have everything from your traditional novel to graphic novels to non-fiction. Come down and explore!
