Board Meeting Report

The Board reviewed and discussed information related to the construction processes of Design/Bid/Build and Design/Build.

The Board recommended bringing forward a policy to add the option of Design/Build.

The Board approved awarding the bid and contract for the Wentzville Middle School Kitchen Renovation to Hankins Construction.

The Board approved the resignation of Dr. Megan Stryjewski, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, effective June 30, 2021. Dr, Stryjewski has worked for the WSD since 2018 and has accepted a position in the Valley Park School District. "The WSD is a very special place," shared Stryjewski in her letter to the Board. "The people of this district are committed, creative and passionate about learning. I am fortunate to have had this opportunity to work with such a dynamic group of educators. I will always appreciate the time I spent in the WSD."

The Board also approved the resignation of Ms. Emilie Vaughan, Director of Accounting, effective June 30, 2021. Ms. Vaughan has accepted a position in the Webster Groves School District.
