One More Time...How do we read?
This is my anchor...Think of my brownie recipe...
Here's the idea...
The first time I read, I know it's about brownies and there are ingredients and steps. The second time I read, I get more info and details such as how many eggs and how long in the oven. The third time is where I make connections. I think about what I can add to my brownies, how I can change the recipe, how my mom has a different recipe... by reading and rereading, I learn more.
