Dear Parents,

We congratulate all of our students who have taken the STAAR tests and have shown their very best. We hope to find out about our scores and share them with you as soon as we can. Stay tuned!

It is time to celebrate our students year long success! We invite all of our parents and guardians to the Award Ceremony that will be taking place on May 29th. This award ceremony is designated for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. KG and 5th grade Award Ceremonies will take place during their graduation ceremony. Please see below for the times allotted for the grade levels:

3rd and 4th Grade: 8:30-10:00

1st and 2nd Grade: 11:30-1:00

Dear Parents,

We are coming close to the end of this year. We would like to remind you the importance of checking your student's grades in Skyward and ensuring all assignments are submitted in a timely manner. Please know the gradebook will close on May 22nd. Once the gradebook is closed, assignments will not be accepted. No Exceptions!

• May 18, Saturday: Earth Day celebration at Sugar Land Tow Square from 12:00-4:00 pm and Movie under the Moon from 8:15-10:00 pm

Dear 4th Grade Parents,

We are excited to announce that a new initiative, Harmony Mathematics Academy (HMA), is coming to Harmony Science Academy - Sugar Land next year for the students in the Gifted and Talented program and High achievers among rising 5th graders. This opportunity is intended to challenge our students through content acceleration and advancement, especially in Mathematics. We are planning to extend the program all the way up to 12th grade over the years.

The HMA program is for students who would like to excel in Mathematics at a fast pace. In order to ensure the success in this challenging program students will be selected based on their skills and achievements in Mathematics. Student selection criteria will include NWEA MAP scores, STAAR performance, teacher recommendation, and student interest. Students selected to participate in the program will be placed in one section as a cohort for an advanced curriculum beyond the grade level expectations.
