Freshmen Parent/Guardian Night – Monday, August 30

Freshmen Parent/Guardian Night will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 30th in the EHS gym. The session is for parents only. If you are unable to print your students schedule, we will have a printed copy for your students schedule for you. Counselors will be available if you have an issue with your students schedule. We will film this meeting and post the video on the EHS website for those who cannot attend. Masks, per School District policy, must be worn for those who attend.

If you want to purchase a Tailgate Party ticket ($5) or School Handbook/Calendar ($5) please bring cash or check. The Freshmen Tailgate Party is before the Park football game on Friday, September 10th. Over 400 freshmen attend this party every year, so you will want to sign up your student and get them involved in a great activity at EHS. The $5 will get the students a ticket to the football game, a hot dog, chips, cookie and drink. The School Handbook/Calendar is a nice planning tool for families. Students will get their academic planners in Science class, there is no charge for the planners.

We will begin the evening in the gym and then move to the academic wing for breakout sessions. Parent are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions. The session topics include: Tours with Link Leaders, "Meet & Greet" with our Cultural Family Advocates [CFA], an FAQ session and a session on Schoology. The sessions will last 20 minutes and be repeated three times during the evening.
