The end of the 3rd 9 Weeks is on 3/8/2024 @ 3:30 pm.

If your kiddo is passing all classes at that time, he or she will not lose eligibility for the remainder of the 23-24 school year. If your kiddo is not passing all classes, the next eligibility check will be in early April.

Attendance is soo important to the success of our kiddos and schools. Thank you for ensuring your kiddo is at school.

Congratulations to Mr. Moore for being selected as our GOAT!

Mr. Moore is a very busy man. He is always in some part of the state with our kiddos, representing YHS, and ensuring our FFA program is very successful.

I appreciate Mr. Moore for always looking at the big picture and preparing our kiddos for the real world. As of now, our AG Mech program has awarded over 20 IBC certifications and we look to achieve more certifications as this year continues.

Awesome job, Mr. Moore !!!

The MS Girls played hard and finished their season fighting to the last buzzer.

Our Homecoming Pep Rally was a lot of fun. Winkie made an appearance and the younger Owls loved him. Our kiddos also had the opportunity to cheer on the Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams as they competing against one another in a couple of games of "Around the World."

Another highlight to the Pep Rally was that Victory Toad made an appearance for our Owls.

Thank you Mrs. Quinn, Mrs. Cimino, Coach Garcia, and all of other YISD Alum for telling the story and showing this generation of Owls about Victory Toad and his significance at YHS!

Our Boys and Girls Basketball Teams both played very well against Bloomberg. Our girls came up a little short, and our boys were victorious.

At Half Time of the Boy's Game, a raffle took place. After many unsuccessful half court attempts (myself included), CJ Madison made a Half-Court Shot and won $200! Thank you to Triple Crown Roofing for donating the money for the raffle.
