As we head into summer, I want to take a moment to share how proud we are of our students. This has been a year of tremendous growth—academically, socially, and as a community. You’ll see a couple of highlights below, including strong schoolwide growth in math and exciting progress in K–2 literacy. While official OSAS results will be released in the fall, our preliminary data shows solid gains across grade levels.
While we saw only modest growth in attendance this year, we are committed to strengthening this work and partnering closely with families to support consistent student attendance.
I hope the summer ahead brings your family time to rest, connect, and enjoy all the beauty our Pacific Northwest has to offer. We will begin sharing back-to-school information in August, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back for another great year.
I will be working throughout the summer, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to connect. I always value hearing from our families and learning from your experiences.
In service to students,
Febe Armendariz
