I'm excited to share more details about the upcoming Troy Intermediate Book Club!

Who: Open to all interested 5th and 6th grade students
Where: Library at Troy Intermediate
When: During students’ lunch/recess periods, starting October 1st

How: Turn in permission slip (available in main office beginning September 22)

5th Grade: Mondays & Wednesdays
6th Grade: Tuesdays & Thursdays

Each grade will be divided into two groups and assigned a meeting day. Groups will be capped at 20 students each.

At the first meeting, students will explore a variety of book options and vote on the book they'd like to read together.

Book Club will focus on relaxed, engaging, and open-ended discussions, all led by students. It’s a great way to explore new stories, share thoughts, and most importantly—have fun while reading!

To pay student fees, visit PaySchools (linked below) OR drop off a check made out to Troy Intermediate School in the designated drop box in the Troy Main Office atrium Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am and 2:30 pm. Checks should be placed in an envelope labeled with your student's name and grade level.

Order forms went home with students on Friday. Please complete and return to Troy if you are interested in ordering. Be sure to complete where you would like to pick the shirt up and what day.

If your student is going to be absent or arriving late, you must notify the building by 8:15 am. Please use the attendance line (440-930-8297) to report your student’s absence. Note that this line is available 24/7.
