Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Longest, Shortest Month...
Good afternoon!
I hope everyone had a great weekend and the cold didn't shake you too much! We haven't had moisture but we are due at some point! Congratulations to Bailey and Danica for qualifying for state this weekend and a shoutout to the rest of our Blue River Panthers for a great season! Also, congratulations to all of our speech kids and coaches for a tremendous home invite! You all did an amazing job. Thank you again to everyone who made this event possible and the many hours that went into it!
As we move into the middle of February, it is important to reflect (as we always should) about the things that have been going well and what we could improve. Some of those things are in our control while others are not. One of those things that happens with life is mistakes. We say something we shouldn't have, we act a certain way that we regret, or maybe it was no action at all the ultimately put us in a wrong situation. This is part of life, however, during the heat of the moment, finding the patience and taking a step back is the ultimate goal.
Learning from our mistakes is a crucial part of personal and professional growth. Mistakes provide valuable lessons that help us improve, adapt, and make better decisions in the future. Instead of seeing failure as a setback, we should view it as an opportunity to reflect on what went wrong and how we can avoid similar errors. Embracing mistakes with a positive mindset fosters resilience, strengthens problem-solving skills, and builds wisdom. By acknowledging our errors, taking responsibility, and making adjustments, we turn challenges into stepping stones toward success. Ultimately, learning from our mistakes shapes us into more knowledgeable, capable, and confident individuals.
Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"Some of the best lessons we ever learn we learn from our mistakes and failures. - The error of the past is the wisdom and success of the future."
Tryon Edwards
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
