Clinton-Massie High School will be closed on Monday, September 1st for Labor Day.

The Clinton-Massie High School Senior Class of 2026 will be hosting a Senior Sunrise gathering on Friday, September 12th @ 7am in the stadium on the Clinton-Massie campus.

Please plan to join together for a time of donuts, games, photos, fun and more. There will be a senior meeting afterwards in the Auditeria at 8am with Jostens to talk graduation supplies.

As we prepare to make strategic investments with new levy funding, we want to ensure our priorities align with your values and vision for our schools.

We’re asking for your input to help us focus on what matters most to you and your family. Your feedback will help guide decisions about:

• Elective classes in art, music, technology, and more
• Upgraded classrooms and instructional spaces
• Restroom, HVAC, lighting, and roofing improvements
• Athletic facilities like tracks, lights, bleachers, and locker rooms
• Updated curriculum, textbooks, and digital tools
• Staff pay and benefits to retain quality educators
• School fee reductions
• K–12 career exploration and pathway

We’ve heard some community members ask: Why seek input now, after the levy was approved? That’s a fair question, and we want to be transparent.

The levy was always intended to support a broad range of needs, including facilities and staffing, as well as academic programs and student opportunities. While we shared examples of those needs during the campaign, the funding was not designated for any one specific project. This gives us the flexibility to address current and emerging priorities, but also the responsibility to make careful, informed decisions.

This is why your voice matters. Funding will come in over time, not all at once, making it even more important that we start with what matters most to our community.

This is the first step toward meaningful progress for our students, and your input will help us determine where to begin. Together, we can ensure every investment strengthens learning and builds a brighter future for all.

If you are planning to apply for the PE Waiver, please see the attached form. You must complete this application and return it to Mr. Carey within 10 calendar days following the first official date for coaching and instruction. (OHSAA)

Clinton-Massie High School will again be partnering with Sinclair College to utilize YouScience career planning resource with our Freshman in September. Students will complete brain game activities to develop a mental connection between personal attributes and career interests. These personalized results will give families and staff student specific feedback to start our career planning discussions.

Our goal is to provide students with additional food on weekends throughout the school year. When students are fed with proper nutrition it will help them meet developmental milestones, be more attentive and retain learned information. Don't be afraid to utilize the resources provided by our new Clinton-Massie Awareness Project! The new program is designed to bring awareness to the resources that we offer here at Clinton-Massie. You can access a free shower, washer and dryer, hygiene products, food pantries, and more through our new website that you can find here. We are here to help all of those in need, no shame!
