The Moore Minute
We are officially at that point in the year where Moore is starting to feel like home again.
Students know their routines, teachers are getting to know the kids behind the names on their rosters, and we are starting to see the personality of this school year take shape. There is a lot happening every single day, but some of my favorite moments are the small ones: a student stopping by to say hello, laughter coming from a classroom, or watching a kid find a place where they belong.
Middle school can be messy, loud, awkward, and pretty incredible all at the same time. I’m grateful you trust us to be part of these years with your kids.

Meet the Teacher: September 16 from 5:30pm-7pm. Come meet your student’s teachers and get a glimpse of what they’ve been learning! Stop by, say hello, see some student work, and make a connection. We can’t wait to welcome you to Moore!
Advisory Schedule Starts on Monday! This will be the main schedule we will run for the remainder of the year other than Pep Rally's and before breaks.
Pep Rally - Tuesday, September 15:
- Parents of students participating in the Pep Rally may sign up here to attend from 3:30–4:00 PM. Please arrive by 3:25 PM to be escorted to the gym, or catch the Pep Rally live on NFHS Network!
- Dream Big is the Pep Rally Theme! Students may wear PJ's this day! Keep your PJ's school appropriate and no slippers or blankets.
Bus Riders: Please read here for our bus riding expectations.
Picture Retakes: Please fill out this form if your student(s) was not on campus for picture day on 8/13, or if you want them to have their picture taken again. If you have more than one student, please fill out the form multiple times.
Level Change Window: Students who are considering a level change from honors to on-level will be able to submit requests September 8-15. Be on the lookout for more details!
