Hello Bellevue Staff, Families, and Community,

It’s hard to believe, but we are just 10 days away from kicking off the 2025–2026 school year!

The energy in the air that only this time of year brings fresh starts, big goals, and the excitement of welcoming our students back into classrooms, hallways, gyms, and cafeterias. Our staff has been working hard behind the scenes to prepare for a great year ahead, and we can’t wait to see our buildings come back to life when our students arrive.

This year, we’ll continue to build on our shared commitment of excellence and community. Whether it’s a student’s first day in kindergarten or their final year before graduation, every day matters and every one of us plays a part in making Bellevue a place where students excel.

Let’s enjoy these last few days of summer and come back ready to make 2025–2026 our best year yet!

Tentative Professional Development Agenda for open days:

Great News!

Elementary:

  • We have met the threshold for Tier I PBIS on the Tiered Fidelity Inventory. We graduated to annual assessments (rather that 3x a year). We are layering on Tier II now. Congratulations on this accomplishment!
  • Ready Reading (the new reading curriculum) is purchased with professional development planned for the staff.
  • Bridges (math) is still rocking and rolling with the support from the our ISD math coach.
Jr/Sr
  • The leadership, EWIMS, and PBIS teams have already met to chart the course for the upcoming year. Thank you to those who have already dedicated time to this important planning!
  • The Early Warning team has much to celebrate—every grade improved attendance compared to last year. They are also excited to honor grade levels that met academic and behavioral goals during Quarter 4.
  • Bronco Stampede, our attendance incentive and celebration program, will continue this year.
District:
  • We can’t wait to see everyone at Opening Day Professional Development!
  • Abre, our new data tool, is making great progress. It’s your one-stop shop for the information you need—no more jumping between multiple sources. We’ll begin with behavior data this year and roll out additional features in future professional development sessions.
