If your student will be out of school for multiple days; sickness, vacation, injury, etc. and would like to get work for your student. Please let the office or teacher know about your request a few days in advance. Calling the day prior to your departure is not enough time to obtain all of the work

that will be missed.

When your student has medical forms that need to be completed by a teacher (Vanderbilt Forms) please do not hand them directly to the teachers. Please give them to the guidance counselors to distribute. This will make the process much more efficient. The counselors will collect them and send them directly to the doctor's office for you prior to your students appointment.

TMS will be having our 3rd Annual Holiday Door Decorating contest again. If you have any extra wrapping paper, ribbon, CLEAR PACKING TAPE, craft supplies that you would like to donate we would gladly take them off your hands. Please make any donations to the office and we will let the hallways know that extra supplies have been dropped off. The grand prize this year is an Ice Cream Social for the hallway that wins!

Think you’ve got talent? Here’s your chance to shine! Students can sign up for the TMS Talent Show in the cafeteria during lunch. Sign-ups will remain open until all spots are filled.

Auditions will begin in November in the band room after school, where participants will perform their acts before a panel of three school staff judges. Once auditions are complete, the final lineup of acts will be announced.

Practices will be held after school through April, leading up to a full dress rehearsal and the big performance on April 16th at the Talawanda High School Performing Arts Center.

The Cincinnati Children’s RISE: Resilience In Student Education project is offering an important research opportunity focused on understanding and promoting resilience among 5th grade students with ADHD or who experience difficulties with paying attention or hyperactive/impulsive behaviors.
