Hello Navigators,

I hope everyone had an amazing week off and Thanksgiving. Hopefully you all got some down time and enjoyed yourself with family and friends. We are excited to see everyone back for school this week. Over the next few weeks teachers will be assessing students for mid-year report cards. This will include our iReady assessment as well as other in class evaluations. Attendance continues to be very important for learning and so we can accurately determine student needs.

This Friday we will have a Leader of the Month assembly. Teachers will provide more information about who will represent their classrooms.

The BASE PROGRAM provides Before & After School care. If you are interested in enrolling your Child, please contact them through their website.

We are so thrilled with out STEAM program. STEAM stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We have Ms. Pauels who teaches the STEM parts of STEAM and Ms. Harmon who teaches Art. Check out the STEAM Newsletter for the latest information.

Oceanside Unified School District has partnered with Care Solace to help families in need of mental health support. This services can help quickly find available services. We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication.
