Administration Message
Dear Families,
This past week has been a wonderful reminder of the perseverance, dedication, and spirit that make our school community so special. Our basketball teams demonstrated incredible commitment throughout the season, showing up for practices, supporting one another, and representing our school with pride. Their hard work paid off in an exciting way as both teams brought home Gold medals. We are so proud of the effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship they showed all season long. Thank you to our coaches for their time and leadership, and to our families for supporting our student athletes along the way.
We are also excited to begin our Student Advisory Group, which will allow students to share their ideas, perspectives, and hopes for our school. This group will help strengthen student voice and continue building a community where everyone feels heard and valued. We look forward to the thoughtful contributions our students will bring as they help us continue growing as a school community.
In this Sunday’s Gospel, John 9:1–41, Jesus heals a man who was blind from birth and reminds us that He is the light of the world. The man’s journey to sight is not only physical but also spiritual, as he grows in faith and courage despite the doubts of others. This story invites us to reflect on how we can open our own hearts to see as Jesus sees, recognizing the gifts in others and allowing God’s light to guide our actions.
As we continue our Lenten journey, may we take time for prayer, practice kindness and generosity toward others, and look for ways to bring Christ’s light into our school and homes. May this season help us grow in faith, compassion, and gratitude as we prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter.
Blessings,
Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Johnson

- Grade 6: Doors by the bus loop (West)
- Grade 5: Doors by the portables (East)
- Grade 7: Front doors (South)
- Grade 8: Door between gym and construction lab (South East)

- Doors will be opened at 8:15 am and will be locked at 8:45 am.
2. Closed Campus
- For the safety and security of our students, ST. John Paul II Catholic School will continue to be a "closed campus." This means that students WILL NOT be permitted to leave school property on their own at anytime throughout the course of the day.
- Students ARE NOT permitted to leave the school to purchase food at nearby fast food restaurants. As such, we are continuing to operate our school cafeteria where students can purchase healthy food choices at lunchtime as well as throughout the day.
3. Parents/Visitors
- In the interest of the safety and respect for all our students and staff, ALL PARENTS/VISITORS MUST report to the office upon arrival at our building.
- We realize that sometimes student lunches and school materials get forgotten at home and need to be dropped off at school, therefore we kindly ask that parents complete these drop-offs at the office, or check in for further instructions. For the safety of our school, we do not want visitors or parents wandering around without our consent or knowledge. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
- If you have any concerns, or need to speak with a staff member or administration, please call the office ahead of time to make an appointment. Thank-you for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.
