Guidance News
As we approach the final days of the school year, there’s a lot to reflect on and even more to look forward to! Our students have worked hard, grown in so many ways, and should be proud of all they've accomplished. Whether it’s preparing for the transition to high school, setting goals for next year, or simply celebrating all the wins—big and small—we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Here are a few tips for finishing the year strong and heading into summer with confidence:
✅ Stay Organized – Keep track of assignments, projects, and upcoming tests. A quick check of Genesis and Google Classroom can help you stay on top of everything.
📅 Finish Strong – These last weeks still count! Use your time wisely, ask for help when needed, and show your teachers what you’ve learned.
🎉 Celebrate Progress – Take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve come this year—academically, socially, and emotionally. Growth isn’t always measured in grades!
🧠Practice Self-Care – With the excitement and busyness of the end of the year, don’t forget to take care of yourself. Get sleep, eat well, and make time for the things that help you feel balanced.
🌞 Prepare for Summer – Start thinking about ways to stay engaged over the summer—whether it’s reading, joining a local camp or program, spending time outdoors, or learning something new just for fun.
To our 8th graders—you’ll be missed! We are so proud of your journey and know you’ll do amazing things in high school. To our 7th graders—we’re excited to see you step into leadership roles next year. You’ve set a strong foundation and the best is yet to come!
Wishing all of our students and families a safe, restful, and joyful summer break. You’ve earned it!

Satz Library News
Important Libraries News!
As we close in on the end of the school year, there are two important pieces of information you need to know about library loans:
- Library lending ends Monday, 6/2 - that is just over 1 week away. You won't be able to check out books at that point, and any books you have out will be due back.
- Your PowerSchool account will disabled on 6/10 if you have any unreturned items as of 6/9. PowerSchool will remain disabled until the materials are returned or paid for.
As a reminder, you can see what materials you have borrowed in your Accessit account:
- Go to Accessit.
- Log in with Google.
- Click your name in the upper right, then click "My Borrowing Details". You'll see your currently-borrowed books.
