Hutchinson Herald
Weekly Bulletin 10/12 to 10/16
OUR MISSION is to cultivate a positive community of engaged critical thinkers.
OUR VISION is for all students to access high quality curriculum, engaging instructional activities, and a supportive learning environment,
WE ARE COMMITTED to closing the gap for our students who are below grade level while still ensuring that every student makes continuous growth each year.
Thank you to the parents that were able to make it to our first Coffee with the Principal. It was great to see the turn out, meet people individually, and was able to give some updates as to how the school year has been going thus far. Our 8th grade Promotion Contracts were due Friday October 9, 2026 to your students homeroom teacher, if your student has not turned it in please make sure that they turn it in as soon as possible. This is a reminder that Monday October 12, 2026 there will be no school.
We want to welcome a new Hutchinson Hawk to our community. We have a new Supervision Aide, Mr. Oscar Diaz who joins us coming from previously working at Escalona Elementary School. He is a familiar face to some our students and has already started acclimating himself into our community.
Parent Teacher Conference Week will be the week of October 19-23, 2026. Please note conferences are only required for students who are earning a D or F in a specific course. Unless you would like to specifically request a conference, the teachers will send you a link this week to sign up for a conference date and time, or they will send a direct email with a recommended date and time. Below is the website address to our staff page where you can email your students teacher.
