GOOD THINGS
Butler Elementary School fourth-graders Fisher Crosby, Madelyn Farnham, and Huxton Sullins finished first, second, and third, respectively, in the International Academic Competitions' National Science Bee Regional Finals April 12. Competitors are given a study guide with nearly 40 science facts, then have their general science knowledge tested in a 120-question, four-round competition. Topics included biology and anatomy, astronomy, chemistry, computer science, earth science, math, and physics. All three qualified for the national championships in Orlando in May.
