A Note from Principal DeVito
Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!
Our students and staff have had an incredible Hope Week! Participation in dress-up days was outstanding, with "Anything But a Backpack" Day being the clear favorite! In addition, our students engaged in meaningful mental health awareness activities organized by our Hope Squad students and advisors.
We invite you to join us as we wrap up the week with the Prosper ISD Hope Walk this Saturday at 9:00 AM at Children's Health Stadium. The event will feature guest speakers, including Dude Perfect, student speakers, and a variety of activities for kids of all ages.
Additionally, our theatre students put on a fantastic opening performance of their musical! If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t miss your chance to catch them in action this Friday or Saturday at 6:30 PM. Come support our talented students and enjoy a great show!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Prosper ISD is proud to offer Hope Squads at all of our schools. Hope Squad members are trusted by their peers and play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive school environment. To learn more about the Hope Squad program, please visit the Hope Squad website.
What is Hope Squad?
Hope Squad members are students identified by their classmates as trustworthy individuals. They are trained to:
· Watch for at-risk peers.
· Provide friendship and emotional support.
· Recognize warning signs.
· Seek help from trusted adults when needed.
Nomination Process
During the week of March 31, 2025, students will complete a nomination form. Students will be asked to name three classmates who demonstrate the following qualities:
· Concerned about others.
· Easy to talk with.
· A good listener.
· Someone they could turn to if they needed a friend.
· Someone who does not bully others.
Next Steps
After nominations are completed, parents of nominated students will be invited to attend a parent meeting at their student’s school. During this meeting, parents will receive more information about the Hope Squad program to help decide whether their student should participate.
Parent Permission
Participation in Hope Squad requires parental permission. A permission form will be provided to parents after the meeting.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
