Artist of the Week
Mr. Bill is pleased to announce his selection for artist of the week, Junior, Advanced Ceramics II student, Katelyn Lee.
Artist statement: This piece is inspired by a tattoo I saw in line for the Demon at Great America. I also just wanted to make something realistic but also comical. I've been doing ceramics all throughout high school and I really wanted to test my skills in the realism style as I've never really aimed for that. I also wanted to work more on faces, and I think this was a success. I plan to submit this piece to the California State Fair art show, I'm really proud of this project and I'm excited to share it.
