Hello #FinallyFifth Families!
WOW! What a great first week! I cannot say thank you enough for sharing your students with me this school year. They have been an absolute joy to get to know. Also, a huge shout out to all of you that donated supplies to our classroom or purchased items off the classroom wish list. Y'all are A~M~A~Z~I~N~G!!!!!
Next week we will begin our units of study for all subjects. Please make sure that you take a few moments to read through all of our reminders and school announcements. As always, please don't hesitate to contact me via phone/text/email if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Medley & Mrs. Vonglis & Mrs. McLeod
REMINDERS:
- Send your student to school each day with a water bottle, a few healthy snacks, and their daily communication folder.
- Please make sure your child is on time for school. The school opens to receive students at 8:30 and dismissal starts promptly at 3:45.
- Cell phones need to be left at home, if a phone must come to school however, it needs to stay in your child's backpack and turned off.
TRANSPORTATION:
- School policy requires that parents make transportation changes through a written note sent in with their child. I am unable to change a child’s daily transportation via phone call or email. If transportation changes during the school day, you must contact the office to arrange for changes. (912) 459-5111.
BIRTHDAYS:
- We love to celebrate student birthdays! Please send in store-bought treats, sealed in their original packaging with ingredients and nutrition facts labeled. Thank you for helping us celebrate while keeping students safe!
HOMEWORK:
- Our nightly homework is for every to student to read for at least 20 minutes a night. Occasionally your student might come home with unfinished classwork. Their other job is to study for any upcoming assessments or quizzes.
