ALL BULLDOG

I got sidetracked this evening watching “It's a Wonderful Life”, one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. There are so many themes at work in this movie but one my favorite is how big of an impact the smallest of actions can have. George Bailey, the main character, doesn’t think his life has amounted to much but in the end, his seemingly insignificant choices have had a huge impact on the lives of others. What a great way to live! Show kindness not just this time of year, but all year long. You never know how big of a difference a simple act of kindness can have on those around you. Last Saturday, Tyler Ungerer performed in the NCKMEA District Band in Manhattan. The district band has over 120 musicians who are the best of this section of Kansas! In January he will audition for the KMEA State Band! Congratulations Tyler!

The Career and Life Planning Class delivered Christmas cookies last week to Country Living Assisted Living Care Home. Pictured are Amy Haakonstad, Carlee Milner, Jenica Hubbard, and Aubrey Dressman.

KAY Club and FBLA are teaming up to sponsor a Hygiene Drive for local organizations supporting those in need. Please bring shampoo, conditioner, body wash, chapstick, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. and drop it off in the cafeteria during the week of December 9-13. Thank you!

High School - Jenica Hubbard, Amy Haakonstad, Aubrey Dressman, and Carlee Milner for their kindness displayed at Country Living when they delivered cookies as part of their class.

Junior High - Arthur Bruna stayed after class after other classmates left and cleaned up a huge mess voluntarily. He is always on top of his classwork and is always asking for ways he can help out.
