Celebrating National AVID Day in Chelsea!
What an incredible celebration we had today at Browne Middle School and Chelsea High School! Our AVID 5th, 7th, 9th grade students were extraordinary as they reflected on the prompt:
“Because of AVID, I…”
The students’ responses were powerful and inspiring. It was amazing to listen to them reflect on how AVID has helped them grow as learners, build confidence, set goals, advocate for themselves, and think about their futures. Today was a wonderful reminder that AVID is about so much more than academic skills. It is about helping students discover their strengths, believe in themselves, and develop the skills they need to succeed in college, careers, and life.
