Wildcat PRIDE - April Celebration Wildcat PRIDE - April Celebration

The April Wildcat PRIDE Celebration was held on Friday, April 24th at 8:00 a.m. During the celebration, students were recognized by their teachers for exemplifying what it means to be a Wildcat by living out our five PRIDE traits: Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy.

Our last celebration will take place on Wednesday, May 20th at 8:00 a.m. in the auxiliary gym. If your student is selected, their classroom teacher will reach out to notify you.

We are proud of our Wildcats and look forward to honoring more students who demonstrate PRIDE every day!

Wildcat Savers Branch Wildcat Savers Branch

This year the elementary students at Cedar Bluffs saved over $3,800! We are proud of the students who took advantage of this opportunity to save (and earn) money on their own.

The last deposit day will be on Wednesday, May 6th. As part of the program, the fifth graders will learn about opening their own savings accounts. Fifth grade students who made deposits into the Wildcat Savers Branch will be issued a check for the total amount that they deposited this year.

Thank you to Julie Kucera and First State Bank Nebraska in Cedar Bluffs, and also to Mr. Dunker and the FBLA students for all of their hard work and support this year!

Five Ways to Help Your Child During Testing Five Ways to Help Your Child During Testing

  1. Make sure your child gets enough sleep
A well-rested child is better able to focus and do their best.
  2. Provide a healthy breakfast
Nutritious food helps fuel the brain and improves concentration.
  3. Keep a positive attitude about testing
Encourage your child and avoid putting too much pressure on them.
  4. Stick to a routine
Keeping mornings and evenings consistent helps children feel calm and prepared.
  5. Encourage effort, not just results
Remind your child that doing their best is what matters most.

Lunchroom Reminder Lunchroom Reminder

If your student brings their lunch from home, we kindly ask that you consider what is being packed—especially items that need to be heated.

While we do have a couple of microwaves available for student use, items that take longer than 1–2 minutes to heat can quickly create a long line. When several students are waiting to warm up their food, it reduces the amount of time they have to actually eat their lunch.

To help ensure all students have enough time to enjoy their meal, please try to send foods that require minimal heating or can be eaten without warming.

Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us make lunchtime a positive experience for everyone.

Health Reminder Health Reminder

As a reminder, students must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning to school.

Keeping students who are ill at home helps protect the health and well-being of all students and staff.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
