End of Year Message From Principal Bledsoe
Dear Families,
As we celebrate the accomplishments of this school year, I want to thank our students, families, and staff for making our high school a place of excellence, opportunity, and pride. We are committed to supporting every student as they prepare for college, careers, or military service.
If you are considering enrolling your student, we invite you to join our high-performing school within Collier County Public Schools, an A-rated district recognized for its commitment to student achievement. Click here to enroll. The first day of school is Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Our school day begins at 7:10 a.m. and dismissal is at 2:05 p.m.
One of the major benefits of enrollment in our school is the wide variety of courses we offer – click to explore available courses and programs. Our counselors will be on campus every Wednesday to respond to emails or meet with students in regards to the upcoming year. Starting on June 3, 2026, our school counselors will be available to meet with students regarding schedules, academic planning, or other supports to ensure a successful start to the year. Please follow our Activities account on Instagram, lelyactivities, or check our website for our summer schedule for sports as well as Band and Color Guard. We will be hosting summer testing opportunities on campus; 7/13-7/15 will be Algebra 1 EOC, ELA FAST, and Geometry EOC. Please log on to Focus and register for those opportunities if needed.
For our returning families, thank you for your continued confidence in our school, and we are excited to welcome back students for another successful year. Over the summer, we encourage students to stay engaged by taking advantage of the 2026 Summer CCPS Classics Reading List.
We are proud to be a school you can trust and a choice you can feel confident making for your child’s future.
In partnership,
Jennifer Bledsoe

Dear Trojan Family,
I would like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the Lely High School community. Serving as Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction at Lely High School over the last four school years (and has an athletic coach over 15 years ago) has been an incredible honor, and I will always carry the memories of this special place with me.
Lely is more than just a school; it is a community full of spirit and heart. The culture here is something truly unique, one of kindness, respect, and collaboration that is felt in every classroom, on every field, and in every hallway. Trojan Nation is built on people who care deeply, not just about achievement, but about one another. That is the true LELY spirit.
Thank you to our students for your energy, determination, and resilience. You inspire excellence and remind us daily why our work matters. Watching you grow, overcome challenges, and celebrate successes has been one of the greatest joys of my career. I will miss each of you and wish you all the best in your future. Always keep that Lely pride! Thank you to our parents and families for your trust, your partnership, and your unwavering support (special shoutout to the ABC team!). Your commitment to your children and to our school community plays a vital role in everything we accomplish together.
To the entire Lely staff from teachers, coaches, custodians, nutritional services, office staff, paraprofessionals, to all who work behind the scenes; thank you. Each of you contributes to creating a safe, welcoming, and thriving environment for our students. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and it has been so rewarding to work alongside you all.
Lely High School holds a special place in my heart. The relationships built here, the shared successes, and the collective commitment to doing what is best for students make this a school so very special.
As I step into my next chapter, I am excited to welcome Mr. Dave Miller as the new Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction. I have full confidence that he will continue to build upon the strong foundation here at Lely and support the continued growth and success of Trojan Nation. Welcome, Dave!
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this extraordinary community. I wish each of you continued success and happiness! Once a Trojan, always a Trojan.
Sincerely,
Amy Lovett

Dear Lely High School Families, Students, and Staff—Trojan Nation,
As I prepare to say goodbye, I do so with a full heart and deep gratitude for the past two years. It has been an absolute privilege to serve this community and to be a part of what makes Lely High School so special.
What stands out most about Trojan Nation is the strength of its relationships with students, among staff, and across the entire school community. Those connections are the foundation of the positive, welcoming, and fun culture that defines Lely. From spirited events and daily interactions to moments of challenge and growth, there is a genuine sense of care and pride that makes this school so special.
Thank you to our students for bringing energy, spirit, and joy to our campus every day. Your pride in being Trojans is evident, and your willingness to engage, show growth, grit, and support one another is what makes this culture so strong. Thank you to all families for your partnership, encouragement, and the trust you place in us each day. Your support plays a critical role in the success of our students and the strength of our community.
Thank you to this amazing Lely staff... our teachers, discipline team, office personnel, and everyone who contributes to the daily life of Lely. It takes all of you to create the safe and supportive environment our students deserve. Thank you for your dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
I am especially grateful for the friendships built along the way. These relationships have been meaningful, lasting, and will always be something I cherish. Lely is truly a place where people come together not just as colleagues, but as a family.
As I move on to my next chapter, I leave with pride in all that we have accomplished together and great confidence in the continued success of this school. I wish the entire Lely High School community the very best. I know Trojan Nation will continue to thrive, grow, and make a positive impact. I will always be a phone call away if you ever need anything.
Thank you for everything. Once a Trojan, always a Trojan.
Sincerely,
Colleen Magers

He is committed to building a program rooted in character, academic achievement, and athletic excellence, with a focus on developing well-rounded student-athletes prepared for success in all areas of life.
"I am excited to step into my new role as Lely High School's Head Basketball Coach. I am committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court.
