Helping Our Students SOAR Every Day!

Dear Families,

As we continue through the school year, we want to celebrate all the ways our students are learning to show their best selves at school. Every day is a new opportunity to practice being safe, responsible, respectful, and kind.

Here are a few simple ways you can encourage your child at home:

  • Come to school ready to learn: Arriving on time every day helps students stay on track and feel confident.

  • Listen to your teacher: Paying attention and following directions helps everyone learn and keeps the classroom running smoothly.

  • Be kind to others: Small acts of kindness — saying a kind word, helping a friend, or including someone in a game — make a big difference.

When students focus on these habits, they can truly SOAR in every part of their school day. Thank you for helping your child shine and for supporting our school community!

Warmly,
Principal Ballard

Remote Learning Remote Learning

What Is Remote Learning?

Remote learning is when students participate in school from home instead of being in the classroom. During remote learning, students:

  • Join lessons online using their computer or tablet.

  • Follow their teacher’s instructions just like they would at school.

  • Complete assignments and activities to keep learning on track.

  • Participate actively by asking questions, sharing answers, and staying focused.

Remote learning is designed to keep students learning and connected to their teachers and classmates, even when they can’t be in the building.

When will students complete remote learning? - DAY 6

Students will participate in remote learning after FIVE traditional snow days.

Please only use the iPad for school work. Students are not to access the iPad until DAY SIX.

We understand that older siblings may need to walk our kiddos home. Please be sure your child's teacher is aware of this arrangement. We have a new form to be completed by parents/guardians of students that are walked home by siblings that are under 18 years of age. Once the teacher is made aware, we will send home the form.
