The Fowler Weekly

Dear Fowler Family,

I hope this communication finds everyone safe. We lost one big tree in the Fowler parking lot during the snowstorm that shut our building down last week, but aside from that we are all systems go and hope to have a full and normal week of school.

Again thank you to the parents who have provided us with names of people who are willing to assist us with our 8th grade career day on April 27th. We are still recruiting people who are interested in coming to Fowler for a series of presentations and connections for students to go off site for a field trip visit. Our tentative timeline will be 8:30-10:30 for the Fowler panel presentations and we are looking at 11:00-1:30 for our off site tours (tentative). Right now we have leads for visits at some healthcare/medical campuses, and are looking for a few manufacturing, technology or other business opportunities for a field trip visit as well. Please let us know if you have contacts or connections (survey) or if you are interested in donating some time to share your career with students. All ideas and careers are appreciated.

There is an ASA Volleyball Jamboree Tuesday, February 28 versus Twality Middle School right here at Fowler. Families are welcome to watch. Please use the gym entrance when you arrive.

• Jamborees run from 3:35-5:00pm

• ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED A RIDE HOME. They will need to be picked up between 5:15pm and 5:30pm.

This is the final week for Winter ASA. Watch for information regarding Spring ASA (After School Activities) right after Spring Break. NOTE: Homework Help will continue through March 16 and then take a break until Spring ASA begins.
