Next Thursday and Friday we will be hosting the SWAU Hoops basketball tournament in our KAES gym. That means that we will not have use of our gym and gym parking lot. On Thursday you will notice that the gym parking lot will be roped off so cars and people do not cut across. We ask all school families who need to park, use the parking in the gravel east lot by middle school. Dismissal will also be adjusted as follows.

Group A (gymnasium) will dismiss from the Elementary Building

Group B (grades 1and 2) will dismiss from the Elementary Building (as normal)

Group B (grades 3 and 4) will dismiss from the Middle School Building (east side)

Group C (middle school) will dismiss from the Middle School building (east side.)

Please be patient with us as we temporarily adjust dismissal during these two days for the HoopsTournament.

We had a great informational about the family opportunities with TEFA.

Every family should consider their options to participate. The student/parent application portal window will open on February 4, 2026 to March 17, 2026. We have handouts if you missed the meeting last Tuesday and would like to have more information. We also plan to offer a virtual informational over Teams on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 6:30 pm.

A big thank you to all the parents who supported classrooms this week with healthy snacks, prayers and encouraging words. The students did a great job staying focused on these tests. It can be tiring but it really gives us a good prospective on student learning. Look for your child's test results to be sent home this week and/or next week.
