Outdoor Recess & Weather Preparedness

We value the importance of outdoor play and fresh air. We make every effort to get students outside for recess each day unless weather conditions are unsafe, such as lightning or temperatures below 15 degrees. Please help us by making sure your child comes to school dressed and prepared for the weather. Coats, hats, gloves, and appropriate footwear are especially important as the temperatures begin to drop.
