Attendance Matters
Why it matters: Consistent attendance is key to staying caught up and feeling confident in class.
Our Goal: Keep absences to no more than 3 per class each semester! Be sure to regularly check your attendance and tardy records.

Class Level Focus Points
Embrace the Magic of October!
Let the colors of fall inspire your hard work this season.
Here is what each grade level should be focusing on as we head into the second half of the semester:
Seniors: TSI / SAT / College Prep — Continue submitting college applications, review admission testing requirements, and check off graduation checklists.
Juniors: Credit Tracking — Keep your eyes on your transcript to stay fully on track for senior year.
Sophomores: CCMR (College, Career, & Military Readiness) — Explore your post-secondary path options and build strong academic habits.
Freshmen: Attendance Focus — Build great habits early! Daily attendance is the single best way to stay ahead.
October Awareness & Community Spotlight
Red Ribbon Week: October 26th – 30th
This month, we are joining schools across the nation to observe Drug Awareness Month and celebrate Red Ribbon Week (Oct 26–30)! We encourage our students to build healthy habits, stay informed about the physical and academic risks of substance use and vaping, and make positive choices that protect their future goals.
How Parents & Students Can Participate:
Choose Positive Influences: Surround yourself with friends who inspire you to grow, succeed, and reach your full potential.
Engage in Positive Outlets: Get involved in sports, the arts, clubs, or new extracurricular skills!
Start the Conversation: Parents, October is a great time to talk with your teen about peer pressure, wellness, and making safe choices.
