Title 1 Survey
Our District receives federal Title funds to support our students with additional resources and reading specialists. In an effort to make our School-Wide Title I program the best it can be, we are asking parents to complete this brief survey. We appreciate your feedback on the impact of these programs and ways we can continue to improve. Thank you!

Pre-K Classroom at Nike Elementary
Did you know that Nike Elementary has a Pre-K classroom? We are so fortunate to have this special opportunity right here in our building!
Our amazing teachers, Ms. Katrina and Ms. Natalie, create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. Free play centers are a highlight of the classroom, giving students time to explore, create, and learn through hands-on experiences.
With smaller class sizes, your child will receive plenty of one-on-one attention. Ms. Katrina and Ms. Natalie truly nurture each childโs growth, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Even better โ tuition may be FREE if your family qualifies! We encourage you to call and learn more about eligibility options.
If youโre interested, donโt wait! The class will continue to fill as we get closer to the next school year, and we want to make sure your childโs spot is saved.
To learn more and begin the enrollment process, please call the Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center at 636-271-1464. Be sure to mention that you are interested in the Nike Elementary location.
We would love to welcome your little one to our Nike family! ๐
A Word From Nurse Jenny
Please remember to send your child to school with a snack each day! Weโve noticed an increase in students visiting the nurseโs office for snacks. Unfortunately, we donโt always have enough crackers to meet everyoneโs needs.
Having a snack helps provide the brain fuel students need to stay focused and ready to learn! When snacks arenโt sent, our teachers and nurse often step in and provide them out of their own pockets. We appreciate your help in making sure your child comes prepared each day!
2026-2027 Kindergarten Enrollment
Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-27 school year!
We are excited to welcome the Class of 2039! Children who turn five on or before August 1, 2026, are eligible to enroll. Registering early helps families receive timely information about screenings, school events, orientations, and important next steps.

Volunteer Opportunities
Would you like to volunteer or attend/chaperone a field trip with Nike Elementary? Volunteering helps create a positive community, makes school better, and increases student achievement.
If you plan to volunteer, attend field trips, or help at classroom parties, you will first need to complete the background check process. Two background checks are now required, and the process takes up to 10 days to complete.
We suggest families plan ahead and complete the process prior to the start of each school year. Volunteers should review the link below. Please contact the Nike Office at 636-271-1444 if you have any questions.
Be a WatchDOG! ๐พ
A WatchDOG Dad (short for Dads of Great Students) is a father, grandfather, uncle, or other male role model who volunteers at a school to help create a positive and safe environment for students. The Watch D.O.G.S.ยฎ program is a national initiative that encourages men to get involved in schools by spending a day (or more) on campus helping with things like:
-
Greeting students as they arrive
-
Assisting in classrooms
-
Monitoring hallways, the cafeteria, or playground
-
Providing positive male role models
-
Promoting safety and school spirit
The goal of the program is to increase male involvement in education and strengthen the connection between families and schools.
Weโre excited to welcome all parents, grandparents, and family membersโmen and womenโto join as WatchDOG volunteers! You can help greet students, assist in classrooms, and make our school an even better place to learn. ๐ If you are interested in becoming a WatchDog, please use the link below sign up.

On Tuesday, April 7, our community will vote on Proposition Sโa $43 million general obligation bond issue for the Meramec Valley R-III School District. ๐ณ๏ธ
