Good Afternoon! I hope this message finds each of you safe and well-rested, and that you're continuing to enjoy your summer. As a follow-up to the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Ms. McFadden.

To all of our family, friends, coworkers, church family, those educated by Ms. McFadden, and everyone who loved my mom —as i mentioned She left us suddenly, and while my heart is heavy, I know she is at peace and in the presence of the Lord she served faithfully.

We will be holding two services to honor her life and legacy (see flyer attached)

The colors/theme of her funeral are purple & pink

If you had pictures with my mom or meaningful memories captured, I’d love to include them in a slideshow to celebrate who she was to all of us. Please feel free to share them in the comments or send them directly to me.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed, or stood with me in any way. Your love has held me up. And thank you in advance for joining us to celebrate a woman who gave so much to so many. God bless y’all.

I'm proud to share that William Lipscomb Elementary has moved up to a B rating from the Texas Education Agency—reflecting incredible gains in student achievement across the board. Our 2024–2025 theme was “Level Up,” and that’s exactly what we did. When we bring the effort, our students rise to the occasion and showcase true excellence. As we head into 2025–2026, it’s time the whole city hears as #WeRoarTogether.

This achievement belongs to every member of our Pride.

Thanks to our custodial team, students came to a clean, welcoming space to learn every single day.

Thanks to our cafeteria crew, they had healthy meals to keep them going strong.

To our amazing teachers and staff—your commitment and drive to help students grow made the difference, and Lipscomb is better because you're here.

And to our families—thank you for believing in us and being right there with us on this journey.

If you need support in registration, or have questions directly related to Lipscomb Enrollment, our Campus Records Controller (CRC) Mrs. Moncadaa returns from summer the week of July 21.

If you’ve driven by recently, you’ve seen the scope of work underway. The site team is working extended hours, so building access remains limited as we give them time to make progress before August.

The building will reopen and be fully operational by August. Please continue using email as the primary way to reach us, and stay tuned for updates as we settle into our new spaces.

The full project—including the new addition—is expected to be completed by Christmas Break, which is when we will also receive brand new furniture across campus.
