SUPERFLEX: BUILDING SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS IN KINDERGARTEN

Superflex is a social-emotional learning program designed to help kindergarten-aged children develop the skills they need to navigate their feelings, relationships, and everyday school experiences.

Through Superflex, children learn to recognize expected behaviours, identify and understand their own feelings and others', develop positive social skills with peers, and build strategies to help regulate big emotions.

One of the greatest benefits of introducing Superflex to the whole class is that it creates a shared, universal language. When all students learn the same concepts and strategies, they can better understand themselves and one another, recognize challenges their peers may be experiencing, and support each other in making positive choices.

By building these skills together, we create a more inclusive, understanding, and supportive classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and succeed.

MORNING DROP OFF

Please do not drop off your child before 8:20am. There is will NO SUPERVISION before this time.

NO PICK UP/DROP OFF FROM THE STAFF PARKING LOT

Please make alternate plans for pick-up/drop-off location as our Staff parking lot is no longer available as an option. This area has become far too congested in the past and is an extreme OH&S concern. Please look at streets/locations that are close to your child's designated entrance where you can safely guide them. While we understand that this takes away some convenience, we are more concerned about the safety of your children. Please see the attached pic showing some highlighted safe alternative considerations for drop-off/pick-up.
