Big Smiles recently visited GSA and set up a mobile dental clinic for middle and high school students. Over the course of three days, approximately 45 students received dental care, including examinations, cleanings, and 125 sealants! Fifteen students also had cavities filled. We appreciate Big Smiles and their care for our students!

Middle School Student Council is excited to announce the launch of its latest service project, the February Canned Food Drive! Here's what you need to know:

• Each grade level at GSA Middle is competing to see who can donate the most ounces of canned goods.
• Cans must be in good condition and not expired to be counted.
• Social Studies teachers’ classrooms will serve as the drop-off locations for each grade.
• The grade that donates the most canned goods by the end of February wins a donut party provided by admin during an advisory period in March!
• All canned goods will be donated to a local food pantry in March.

Is your child ready to step up to the plate? Encourage them to join our middle school baseball team for grades 6-8! Baseball is a great way for students to build teamwork, confidence, and school spirit while staying active and having fun. No matter their skill level, we welcome all players to try out for the middle school team and learn the game! Tryouts will be held in late February.

Sign-ups are open now. For more details or to register, contact Coach Ballman at sballman@gsastl.org or visit https://gateway-mo.finalforms.com/. Let’s play ball!

The basketball games were full of excitement and great competition, but in the end, only one class managed to defeat the teachers—congrats to 7th grade for securing the only win! Great job to everyone who played and supported this fun event! 🏀❤️

Who’s ready for a rematch next year?! #HoopsForHeart #GSAstrong #StudentsVsStaff
