7th Grade News, December 9
From the desk of Chris Howell, 7th Grade Principal
These past two weeks have had some big events here at SMS. We first had our annual Unified Games where our students did a fantastic job cheering on the students participating. Of course, every student I spoke with was happy to have Thanksgiving Break.
This past Friday, we had our annual SMS Gives Back Day, along with our Reindeer Games. Thank you all who volunteered to wrap gifts and sent in donations. Your support is always appreciated.

Quick Announcements
- We kindly request that you refrain from using the staff parking lot during arrival and dismissal times for dropping off or picking up your students. Utilizing this area can impede access for buses and staff entering the parking lot, and it raises safety concerns for all students.
Reminder:
Procedure for picking students up early. When picking up your child from school for appointments, not feeling well, or other reasons;
- You will be required to park your car
- Enter the building
- Press the intercom and present your driver's license for identity verification
- Sign out your child on the cart in the vestibule
When that is complete, your student will be called down and sent out to you.
Thanks everyone. Have a wonderful week.
