With the school year now well underway, we want to pause and express our sincere gratitude for the outstanding start we have experienced across every building in our district. Walking through our schools, the atmosphere of enthusiasm and focus is contagious, a true reflection of what makes our district community so special. We extend our appreciation to our incredible staff for their passion and preparation, and to our students for bringing their best selves to school every day. Thank you to our families and district patrons for continuing to invest in our collective success.

Leading by Example at Kellogg Middle School
Service and leadership go hand in hand! Last week, the Kellogg Middle School leadership team partnered with 2nd Harvest to help sort and distribute food to more than 230 district families. Scroll through the photos below to see our KMS leaders in action as they give back to the community that supports them every day.
Powered by Presence: How Weβre Doing
Through our Powered by Presence attendance effort, we are tracking district attendance trends weekly and the progress reflects a strong foundation! Our district is currently averaging a little over 93% daily attendance, matching the state average. Being present at school helps students stay connected to their routines, their teachers, and their classmates. Thank you for your daily efforts at home to support consistent attendance whenever possibleβtogether, we are powering student success one day at a time!
π¨KHS Bonfire Area π¨
Please take note of a quick reminder regarding the high school homecoming bonfire site:
No Unapproved Dumping: The bonfire area is not a community wood drop-off site.
Cleanup in Progress: Facilities staff are currently working to clear and dispose of items recently left in the area.
Wait Until Next Fall: Please do not bring any wood or materials to the location until official preparations start for next year's homecoming.
Thank you for doing your part to respect our grounds and support our maintenance team!

Save the Date: November Parent-Teacher Conferences
We invite all district parents and guardians to join us for our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences later this month (see the graphic below for building-specific dates and times). These individual check-ins serve as a cornerstone of student progress, helping us ensure every learner has the encouragement and tools they need to succeed.
Strong communication between home and school directly impacts student achievement and well-being. These brief meetings give parents clear insight into classroom expectations, allow teachers to learn more about each student's unique strengths, and show our kids that we are all invested in their journey together. We look forward to welcoming you into our halls and continuing our shared work on behalf of your students!
