  • Full Day Kindergarten - Participates in the Connection Program where they will rotate teachers the first week of school. We do this to meet the kids and their learning needs. The intention is to create equitable class lists. They'll have a homeroom teacher assigned for the start of Monday, 8/25. They'll spend the day with them followed by an Open House for families to meet the teachers and formally drop off supplies.
  • Half Day Kindergarten - Does not participate in Connections Program, as they have an assigned teacher (we only have one HDK option). They'll be with their homeroom teacher starting the first day of school.

Kindergarten Connections Kindergarten Connections

Tuesday, August 19th - Friday, August 22nd

Full Day Kindergarten ONLY - We understand the importance of helping your child feel comfortable and connected. During the first week, your child will experience different groupings and activities that help build friendships and ease anxiety. We carefully design these “connections” to support social growth and a smooth transition into school life. Teachers and staff will be attentive to your child’s needs, and we’ll share updates on placement after the initial days. By August 25th, your child will be assigned to his or her classroom teacher. Please read the attachment to learn more about this exciting program we have created to assist families and staff in this first year of school.
