This month the students will be collecting new, unused toys for children of any age for the Toys for Wilmington Children Holiday Drive which is sponsored by the Wilmington Fire Department. Donations can be placed in the box in the front office from November 28th – December 16th.

We will also be collecting new pajamas for infants, children, teens, and adults from November 28th – December 9th. Our donations will be distributed to families in Wilmington and surrounding shelters. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will be greatly appreciated!

This year, with an increase in specialized programs within our school community, Mrs. Henley and staff members will be implementing an inclusive lunch bunch with all students. Students from any classroom may be invited to join us in the cafeteria to participate in fun activities with our peers. If you have any questions or would prefer your child not participate, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at Kristen.henley@wpsk12.com.

As we enter a busy time of year with more indoor gatherings, we are seeing an increase in illnesses. If your child is experiencing an illness with a cough, please be sure the cough has greatly improved prior to sending your child back to school. Also, your child must be fever free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication before returning to school.

We know some families are scheduled to have their annual physicals completed within a few weeks, please be sure to send a copy of your child's updated physical form to nurse Nicole. It is very important we update your child's information.

If your child requires diapering, please replenish their supplies. We do not have additional supplies available.

If you need to speak with nurse Nicole regarding your child or if you have any questions, please call the health office at 978-694-6026 or email her at nicole.mccabe@wpsk12.com.

The Boutwell PAC would like to thank everyone for participating in the Lyman Orchard Pie fundraiser and the Election Day Bake Sale! The money raised is being utilized to fund two enrichment programs this winter for our students! We'd also like to send a huge THANK YOU to the Yokell family for allowing us to use their driveway as the pie pick-up location!

Our next fundraiser is Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Chipotle in Woburn, Ma. A flyer will be coming home today with additional information. Please show the flyer in the restaurant or use code QRH9RJN for online ordering.

The December meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 15th beginning at 9:30 am. If interested in joining, please email boutwellpac@gmail.com to receive the virtual invite.

For our November community project, our students and staff donated food to the Wilmington Food Pantry. All goods will be delivered and available to families in need for the holiday season. A special thanks to everyone for your generosity!

Please be sure to send your child to school with a warm winter jacket, hat, mittens, or gloves. We bring students outside as much as possible and we want to make sure they are dressed for the weather! Please label your child's clothing so we can return any lost items!

Now is a great time to switch out your child's extra set of clothing stored in the classrooms. Many extra sets of clothing are for warmer weather and might be too small.
