Texas Coaches Day
Today, we proudly recognize the dedication, passion, and commitment of our Bearcat and Ladycat coaches, who inspire, lead and mentor our students every day. On this special day, we celebrate not just the victories and achievements, but also the countless hours of hard work, the guidance and the unwavering support that our coaches provide to our athletes and community.
Thank you, coaches, for your invaluable role in shaping character, instilling resilience and fostering teamwork. Your impact goes beyond the field, making a lasting difference in the lives of those you lead. We are grateful for all you do, today and every day. ๐๐งก ๐
AMS Food Drive
We will begin collecting food benefiting the Manna Room Food Pantry and the Parker County Center of Hope on Monday. There will be grade level boxes in the front foyer. You can also drop off in the car line on Thursday!
Bearcat of Character
We are proud to honor our Bearcat of Character for Open Mindedness, 6th Grader - Elliot Skinner. Elliott consistently shows open-mindedness in class discussions and activities. He is always willing to consider new ideas and perspectives, even when those ideas differ from his own. His ability to listen respectfully to his peers and thoughtfully reflect on different viewpoints greatly enhances classroom conversations. His openness to learning from others shows a mature and adaptable mindset, which will serve him well in future academic and personal challenges
Attendance Matters in Aledo ISD!
As a reminder, we have streamlined absence reporting for all of our campuses for this school year. It is very important that we have documented reasons for absences so that we can ensure your student is given an excused absence when needed.

Lunch Deliveries
In the event that you need to deliver lunch to your student, please follow the steps below:
- Please be sure that the lunch is clearly labeled with your student's first and last name.
- Upon entering AMS, please place your student's lunch in the bin assigned to your student's grade level lunch.
- The bins will be delivered at the start of each lunch period. Students will be responsible for getting their lunches from the bin.
Again, we request that you limit lunch deliveries when possible. Also, in order to limit distractions, we will not call students out of class to receive lunches.
Thank you for your help with this!
